Clauses Amended:29 September 2025: This policy provides principles-based guidance on the responsible use of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in research. It ensures compliance with ethical standards, University policy, and regulatory requirements, promoting innovation while safeguarding research quality and integrity.


AB 2025/180 Academic Board Approved the draft Policy on the use of Generative Artificial Intiellegence in Research, endorsed by the University Research Committee by circular resolution, end-date 21 July 2025.
